Microsoft Azure is Microsoft's cloud platform offering virtual servers, storage, databases, networking, remote desktops and AI services on a pay-as-you-go basis. It differs from Microsoft 365: Microsoft 365 provides ready-made apps, whereas Azure is the infrastructure your own servers and applications run on. The customer chooses the region (data centre) where data is stored.
